Fentanyl Education and Narcan Training

Fentanyl Education and Narcan Training

Seating is limited. Registration is recommended. Walk-ins are also welcome.

Santa Clara County, like so many communities across the country, has been affected by the opioid crisis. Being informed and having access to training and resources can save lives.

Santa Clara County Supervisor Joe Simitian, in partnership with the County of Santa Clara’s Behavioral Health Services Department and Mountain View Public Library, invites the community to a Narcan training workshop. The event is an opportunity for the community to learn more about the opioid crisis, the dangers of fentanyl and other opioids, and receive training in the use of Naloxone (commonly known as Narcan), a life-saving medication used to reverse the effects of an opioid overdose.

After the presentation, participants will receive a free Narcan kit while supplies last.
