Silicon Valley Advanced Water Purification Center: Virtual Tour

Valley Water will offer a free virtual tour of the Silicon Valley Advanced Water Purification Center. Join us to learn about the advanced treatment processes and the role of recycled and purified water as a future sustainable water supply.
The award-winning facility uses innovative technologies to purify secondary treated wastewater and provides clean, high-quality water through processes like microfiltration, reverse osmosis and ultraviolet light disinfection.
The result is 8 million gallons a day of highly purified water that is safe for drinking, though at this time it is used for recycled water purposes. An expansion of purified water in Santa Clara County is being planned, and the expansion will utilize the same technology to increase our local drinking water supply.
