Introduction to Kids LEGO Robotics

Introduction to Kids LEGO Robotics

Ever wondered what it’s like to be a real engineer? Spend an hour designing, building, and programming a real robot using LEGO SPIKE Prime or Essential kits. You’ll get hands-on engineering experience with motors, sensors, and creative problem-solving. This presentation is the perfect way to introduce the high-level idea of LEGO Robotics engineering. No pressure. Just bring your imagination, play, learn and engineer.

Followed by a demonstration, attendees will break into groups to assemble a LEGO set together then write simple code to operate tablets.

13 tablets and LEGO kits will be provided, allowing for groups of up to 3 children per tablet.

Ages 6-13.

39 free tickets will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis 30 minutes before the program. Please come to the First Floor Program Room to pick up your tickets starting at 1:30 p.m.

Note: To manage attendance, we will be implementing a ticketing system on a trial basis instead of pre-registration. This system will prioritize access for customers who are present in the building, helping to ensure that every seat is filled and to minimize no-shows from the registration list.
