Teens and adults ages 13+ are invited to register for this introductory program on 3D printing and CAD (Computer-aided Design). Session 1 on October 6 will cover the basics of 3D printers with tips on buying and owning one, as well as 3D printing software Cura. In session 2 on October 13, participants will learn the 3D modeling software Onshape by modelling a car. Participants should plan to attend both sessions.

All skill levels are welcome! Participants must bring their own laptops, and software installation instructions will be emailed to registered participants before the first session. (A limited number of laptops are available to borrow at the library.)

This program is brought to the library by 3D Collectives, a teen organization focused on 3D printing, and is part of Amplify: Teen Voices, a program for teens who want to share their interests and passions with an audience.
