CANCELLED: Astronaut Boot Camp
Ever dream of visiting space? These days, men and women can turn this dream into a reality, but women weren’t always allowed to do that! Learn about the courageous women who dared to change that, experience our very own Astronaut Boot Camp, and meet the Space Cookies – a Bay Area all-girls robotics team in partnership with NASA Ames Research Center and the Girl Scouts of Northern California. We'll highlight Almost Astronauts: Thirteen Women Who Dared to Dream by Tanya Lee Stone, a Silicon Valley Reads 2020 selection. For children ages 6-10.
