Stroke Awareness and Prevention

Registration is required. Sign up below to receive the the Zoom link on the morning of the event.

Stroke is the #5 leading cause of death and it is a leading cause of long-term disability in the United States. About 795,000 Americans each year suffer a new or recurrent stroke. That means, on average, a stroke occurs every 40 seconds. Recognizing the signs and symptoms of a stroke can save a life and limit severity of stroke. Learn from the Pacific Stroke Association how to recognize these signs and reduce your risk.

Pacific Stroke Association is a local not-for-profit organization whose mission includes reducing the incidence of stroke through education. PSA Stroke lectures are presented by physicians and nurses.
