Women in STEM: a discussion with Aisha Bowe

Women in STEM: a discussion with Aisha Bowe

Registration is required. Sign up below to receive the Zoom information on the morning of the event.

Join us for a discussion with former NASA rocket scientist, motivational speaker and CEO of STEMBoard, Aisha Bowe. She will discuss her journey from working at NASA to becoming a successful entrepreneur. Aisha will also share her passion for empowering girls, young women and students of any gender to pursue careers in STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math).

Aisha Bowe is the founder and CEO of STEMBoard. A serial entrepreneur, Aisha also created LINGO, a self-paced coding kit that empowers students to learn technical concepts at-home. Complete with online tutorials and support, LINGO kits are a great way to learn the fundamentals of software and hardware engineering concepts. LINGO is currently used by over 4,000 students in America.

Prior to founding STEMBoard, Aisha worked at NASA’s Ames Research Center where she was an aerospace engineer in the Flight Trajectory Dynamics & Controls Branch of the Aviation Systems Division. Aisha holds a B.S.E in Aerospace Engineering and an M. Eng. in Space Systems Engineering, from the University of Michigan.
