Gender and Sexuality 101

Registration is required. Sign up below to attend.

Join us for an engaging presentation on key concepts and language about gender and sexuality diversity, followed by a Triangle Speakers panel featuring voices of LGBTQ+ community members and allies. This program will be presented by Diversity Center Santa Cruz County and EDI Educators and is supported by the Friends of the Mountain View Library.

During this workshop, you will learn about the spectrum of gender and sexuality, including crucial terminology and inclusive language. The presenter will also address specific issues, myths and barriers for LGBTQ+ people in your community, and provide practical actions to embrace and celebrate diversity. All interested participants are invited to attend, including LGBTQ+ community members, allies, and those seeking to educate themselves about their neighbors.

This program is made possible by the generous support of the Friends of the Mountain View Library.
