Valley Water will offer a free virtual tour of the Silicon Valley Advance Water Purification Center. Join us to learn about the advanced treatment processes and the role of recycled and purified water as a future sustainable water supply.

The award-winning facility uses innovative technologies to purify secondary treated wastewater and provides clean, high-quality water through processes like microfiltration, reverse osmosis and ultraviolet light disinfection. 

The result is 8 million gallons a day of highly purified water that is demonstrated to be safe for drinking, though at this time it is used for recycled water purposes.  A second similar facility is being planned utilizing the same technology to increase our drinking water supply and combat the drought.
