Identifying and Interrupting Microaggressions

Identifying and Interrupting Microaggressions

Registration is required. Sign up below to receive the Zoom link on the morning of the event.

Microaggressions can be defined as "brief statements or behaviors that, intentionally or not, communicate a negative message about a non-dominant group." In this training, we will briefly discuss this behavior, explore examples that are commonly experienced, go over different roles one can take in the situation and run through real life scenarios. Throughout this interactive session, our presenters will encourage engagement, questions and reflections from participants.
